The Boys Are Back In Town

Notes from Wednesday Night Practice: After beating down the Punters at practice, Billy Spearheaded the charge to get back and retake the Crown and Anchor. Several key findings followed:

1. The demise of Billy’s social skills have been greatly exaggerated as he was in fine form on and off the pitch.
2. Greg, owner of the Crown and Anchor, was happy to see us and we learned about the recent difficulties on procuring kegs of the sweet, frothy post-practice elixir.
3. Ciro showed up after not coming to practice…. but it was discovered he was actually there, but playing tennis instead. Tsk tsk.
4. Ciro then tried to explain his work in quantum computing, spouting some nonsense about lasers and atoms. Obviously all made up on the spot.
5. Billy is going to lead the new post-game activity soon with a game of “British Bulldog”
6. After 6 months, the over-done fries and burgers were delicious.
7. Wednesday nights at the Crown have been reinstated!
