Soccer Game Breaks Out During WWE Match
Ughhh. It was not pretty yesterday as Cameron Road’s summer woes continued with a 3-1 loss to the Austin Athletic All Stars. AAC were stacked with a few professional wrestlers, the Mountain from Game of Thrones, and a few scattered lower division players.
Still, if it weren’t for Chappy’s abysmal finishing and the referee’s blind eye on their second goal that was 2 feet beyond the touchline, the Honey Badgers would have got something out of this game against a really strong opposition.
Noteworthy:
- Billy scored a cracker of an opening goal from Bret’s driving run and cross
- Verity Joe donned the yellow top for the first time and delivered a strong performance full of scorpion kicks and bruising headers
- There was a John Ammerman tent sighting (where were the cleats??)
- Ciro did not shoot it directly at the keeper!! (but it did go over the crossbar)
- Adam just don’t give a shit as he went toe-to-toe with the AAC Giant…. twice.
- The referee was terrible
- McKenna bought beer!
- Jefe devoured Joe’s Mom’s cranberry cookies and will not stop texting me about how incredible they were.
