After months and months of being on the business end of eagle claws, Cuban missile crises, Ben on Ben crime and a never ending revolving door of practice sites, the Honey Badgers finally got to play a real game yesterday as the Spring Season got underway.
Champions! An eleven man Cameron Road squad put the league to bed with a dramatic 2-1 come from behind victory Sunday morning. With a third of the team unavailable, a gritty performance was needed against an improving mid-table 2XS.
For some reason I’m in no mood to write the game report. I think I’m still upset that we missed an opportunity to get the full three points yesterday. I’ll get over it.
