Nice way to finish off the summer season. A resounding 7-0 win against an overmatched (let’s face it boys, this wasn’t Jah Love we were playing) Chopped Liverpool. Highlights included a Ryan Willis hat trick, a thumping header by yours truly, additional goals by Bob and Dermot, a shutout by the defense, and Chris Peterson serving up 3 assists. I think Scott might have scored too, it was all kind of a blur out there from the get go. The icing on the cake was, of course, the deflected goal by Captain Andy Magilow in his final game. Couldn’t have asked for a better send off.
Thanks to everyone for putting up with the Texas heat and sweating through another gruling summer season. All that’s left to do now is hit up the wrap up party next weekend and get ready for the Fall.
