Ryan Willis is the 2014-2015 MVP!
It was a day of stunning doubles for Ryan. He got a haircut and new shoes. He scored a goal in the first half and a goal in the second half. And most importantly, he was awarded the Golden Boot for being last year’s top scorer and won the coveted Player of the Year award. A clean sweep of silverware for Cameron Road’s all time leading goal scorer!
It was all smiles around the tent campfire, but after 2 hours of celebrating, ice baths, beer cans to groin shots, drunken long-range shooting, and a failed and successful tent jump…. disaster struck. In an ironic twist of fate, the last ball that left last year’s MVP’s hand smashed Ryan’s trophy in two, leaving him seemingly unconsolable and distraught.
No matter, Billy carefully points out the fact that he is now the proud owner of the team’s first and only Flavor Flav style MVP gold pendant!
