Chopped Liverpool Slice and Dice CRU 3-1

Ciro lets Chappy borrow his "Mini Mizuno" keychain style cleat. And although Ciro is now a member of the beloved Mizuno Bretheren, it didn't stop him from receiving a post-game Ice Bath.
Chappy returned from Mexico with a slightly swollen right foot. Most likely due to the week’s extreme consumption of tequila that his other organs became unable to process.

In a battle for the 4th free pitcher at the Crown, Cameron Road came up on the short end of the stick Sunday morning. Although the chances came early and often for the Honey Badgers, it was a revitalized Chopped Liverpool that came out on top with the victory and earned pub bragging rights for the week.

On another day, it could have been 3-1 Cameron Road, but a few errant bounces of the ball and some fantastic saves by the Liverpool keeper were the difference in the game.

After going down 3-0 in the second half, the typical Cameron Road comeback battle cry was heard over the tree line, and the Honey Badgers rallied for a comeback. Gianluca pulled one back on a hard shot that took a slight deflection, and although they had several other nice chances, one goal was all they could muster.

And although things weren’t clicking on all cylinders on the field, off the field the Honey Badgers were in top gear as Jefe gave Chappy an ice bath, and then the captain stealthily snuck up on his favorite target, emptied out an ice chest full of beer, and welcomed Ciro to Club Mizuno with an frozen shower of post-game goodness.
